He is Christian. This story is over and done, but you choose to believe he is a liar. He went to the muslim school as a child. Now I don't know how old he is, but he is way beyond those years. He is a member of the United Church of Christ. So you believe he is scheming everyone to become president as a muslim? Come on. He is black, which is already going to make some people think twice about voting for him. That is bad enough, but adding that he is a muslim would not further hurt him. So, no he is not a muslim. He has no reason to lie about it. You are wrong. He is Christian. I personally hope he wins the election. He would do much better than any republican candidate out there.

Well this is far from P.C. if anyone is Muslim they should not be president or have any-other stand in our government. While I understand that all do not put their faith first, Most do. According to the W.S.G. , Fox, MSNBC, CNN and the T.B.T I am not comfortable with all these stats. Their is one stat that has over 100 questions on it. When it asked the young Muslims if they condone the actions of the suicide bombers 1 out of every 4 said yes. I am an American first. I am a Mother Second. I am a person of Faith Third. Yes I put being an American above being a Mother. That means if I were called to fight for my country I would. If one of my boys were called to fight for his country he would. We are all for one and one for all that is being an American is. I am tired of all this P.C. crap. That is just my point of view. Don't like it Lump it.

Big deal, I went to a Catholic School, have attended Baptist Church, Buddhist temple, Hindu mandir, Sikh Gurdwara, and many more places of worship!

And I am only one of those religions! Obama goes to Church, he is a Christian as far as I know. Stop trying to spread propaganda, and even if he WERE a Muslim, why do you care? Are all Muslims terrorists in your opinion? Maybe you should look around - a lot Muslims in this country contribute a great deal to our society and love this country; as hard as that is for you to accept, Accept It!

I know that neo-cons would like for America to think that, but fortunately Americans as a whole are intelligent enough to think for themselves. If you wonder about Barack Obama and his voting record on the issues then check out Barack Obama.com. He has done more for American Veterans than almost all of the other candidates on either side combined. I doubt that a radical Muslim would do anything for an American Veteran.

Wow, point 1 really locks in your facts, lots of Muslims in Hawaii (insert sarcasm).

Also, your facts could point to the fact that he really did convert. You really have no proof that he's still a Muslim. By the way, who are you voting for? If you say Mit Romney or Fred Thompson be aware you are a giant hypocrite, because they have majorly changed their views on issues like Abortion and Gay Rights over the past few years.

And no, I am not an Obama supporter, not even a Democrat, I am simply pointing out the MAJOR flaws in your logic.

Oh, and nadadime "He has my vote if for no other reason to spite people with narrow closed minds like you have.
It is about time people stop looking at names and skin color to decide who will best run this country. How about listening to the issues for a change?"

Good call, vote for him BECAUSE of skin color, not the issues. You are more narrow minded than the original poster

Well at least he's not a hypocrite pretending to be a Christian like some we know. Just because his parents think one way or another does not mean that he is the same. I don't care if a good candidate is a two headed FSM devotee, if I think he can get the US back on the right path I would for for him.

My husband and I have discussed this before. It's really worrisome when you think about it. I have no bad feelings toward Muslims as a people. It's the Taliban and alQaeda I abhore. What I think about is all the Muslim doctors or professionals that have been arrested in the US & UK for links to these groups. So...does Obama come off as a possible trustworthy US president? Too shaky for me.

All poilticians try to be something they're not. The 20% left will always vote Left, The 20% right will always vote right. They spend all there time courting the middle 60% and it works every time.

While you were trying stir things up here, you failed to mention that his middle name is Hussein, and his last name being Obama SOUNDS like osama. He MUST be a terrorist too? He has my vote if for no other reason to spite people with narrow closed minds like you have.
