My mom has it, and I'm kind of scared.
I think it's like a tumor in the uterus.

A lot of women have them during their reproductive years.
Very few are even enough to cause death. These are called malignant.
Your mother will probably be fine and she probably shouldn't have told you about it if you were going to worry so much. Talk to her about it like an adult and see what's going on with it and her.
A tumor is a tumor; a uterine fibroid is a uterine fibroid.

Uterine fibroids are the most common, benign tumors in women of childbearing age, but no one knows exactly what causes them. They can be frustrating to live with when they cause symptoms. Not all women with fibroids have symptoms, but some have pain and heavy menstrual bleeding. Fibroids also can put pressure on the bladder, causing frequent urination.but most people lead normal undisturbed lives.

I have a history of fibroids, polyps and cysts. No, you cannot die from them.
Fibroids are benign (NON-cancerous, harmless) growths. In most cases they are removed, especially if they cause pain or interfere with fertility.
Please don't worry about your mom. :) Her gynecologist will, I'm sure, keep a watchful eye on her.

Someone mentioned that fibroids are caused by "wrong eating". Don't pay attention to that. Fibroids have nothing to do with diet.

no she won´t dye from it, it´s not like cancer, it´s different, she mus feel pain, but she has to cut eating chocolate, coffee tea no smoking no drinking, no nothing with cafeine and start having a great eating treatment to help her body relief, that will help her lots, fibroids are because of wrong eating.
Good luck with your mom and don´t worry it is fine don´t be scared she will notice and will worry, and this kind of things happen too because of depression and sadness, your body gets sick when you feel sad, try to make hr feel happy.
