Should African American's stop using the N* word?

They claimed that they have a funeral for the word, yet the word is still used I wan't everyone's insight because as a whole to help make the world a better place it's everyone's problem! People don't know how that word was originated and yet people use it everyday. As an African American I believe it's a disgrace to anyone who uses that word.

By giving it a funeral, it just drew more attention to it and while doing this you gave it more power, do you know what I mean? IF you want people to stop using it, stop making such a big deal out of it. I don't get offended by Cracka or Nazi....that is giving someone way too much power over you. I agree with you, but if it doesn't apply, let it fly!

I personally have never said that word once. But I know people that use it all the time, and think nothing of it. No matter how much I don't like the word and don't want others to say it, it is never going to go away. People are always going to use it, no matter what.
