Can i find a web site that has ALOT of music but totally free, don't have to buy or anything like mtv.com but more music? and when i go to the sites that do have them, i have to install them to my computer and that's annoying, so can someone give me some ideas? plz?

Not all free music downloads are illegal. There are scores of websites dedicated to providing free, legal music downloads - mostly unsigned local bands, but even some signed commercial artists allow free downloads to some of their music. The last one is a rock band that, surprisingly doesn't have a guitarist or use guitars in any of their songs. Check out "Whales are the Biggest Fishes" at the bottom.
FYI: Most Limewire downloads are not legal. Most commercially available music must be paid for. There are some exceptions: one of them is the album "My Life in the Bush of Ghosts" by Brian Eno & David Byrne. I've posted a link for that one. Other artists will permit you to download their music for free. Try browsing some websites of minor labels.

All free music downloads are illegal--its stealing.
The IRA is still suing people for illegally downloading music.
So I'd recommend not to do it.
But the odds of them catching you are slim...
But i'd still recommend not to do it...
Anyway just download limewire--its quick to install and easy to use.

limewire is probably one of the best p2p programs that are out there, you will need to install it only once, and you can download all the music you want

unfortunately you will have a very limited selection. You either pay, or install P2P file sharing software.

Maybe im not sure but eztracks? i get most of my ringtones and music from there but smetimes the music is not from the original artists

I don't think you can but you can try to download limewire or Frostwire that's how I get must of my music you can download them from the following sites:

Limewire, it is a download but it's free and safe, I've never had a problem with it.
