It does temporarily take control of me. As does the hurt. I say things I don't really mean. My temper does get the better of me from time to time.

Sure my anger has gotten the best of me; but I try not to let this happen because I am in a 12 step program, and I have to apologize, or find a way to make amends, but I have been so angry I have wonder why flames of fire did not come from my mouth like a dragon, and set that or those people on fire, yeah baby ! I been really angry more than I would want to express, So I have had to do a lot of work to keep it far away from me. The ironic part of this story is that now because I have gotten better, I can help others of course, they will have to want the help, not need help.

u really need 2 go to that counseler , dude ive been through that suicidal depression state 2. its horrible. but dont keep the stuff inside u thats bothering u tell your mate your bro your dog or anyone because then u will burst in a much worser way which is by hurting people u love. get new hobbies too , even its it an agressive one like boxing or just shout the window cuz U are killing yourself by bottling it all up.its better to cry than to hit or hurt people becus u are only making THEM feel worse and so will u in the mean time and crying is so much better because it also lets you push out some of the pain inside you and as for anger try counting up to ten before you say anythin to hurt other people and try working out WHY you want to. do u really feel this way? take a deep breath and of course take your time choosing the right words. dont be embarressed of crying in public and if you are really getting aggressive than do yoga but as we both know that u will find this very embarrasin then jus listen 2 some music and reeeeeeelax!!!and tell anyone this counselor is a good idea hope youll feel better soon ... later!:)

For me it was just like you, the same exact feeling but not sometimes...OFTEN (seemed like it's a heritage from my father). Then one day I began to enjoy it!!!! I started to lose every thing cause of that behaviour... So now, I'm trying to behave myself and control those feelings. You know what? I feel much better now. The joy is much greater.

No never.. I might stew at the moment but I let it die down. What's the point. Who wants an ulcer. Worry and anger are bad for you. Live and let live.

I try not to define myself by anger, but it does etch out of me at times, I try very hard to overcome ever obstacle that's hit my face, but sometimes sh*t happens and I retaliate. Maybe one day I can forgive but not today.
