I would have to say "Wiener Blut" (Viennese Blood) its so pretty and everyone has heard it before. If your looking for a recording look for the one with the Philadelphia Orchestra. The violins, and the rest of the strings for that matter, are very rich and full. It's so beautiful!

Perhaps this doesn't count in some people's opinion, but it's still technically a brisk 3/4 dance like piece...a waltz in fact!! It's the waltz section of the overture to Die Fledermaus. It just so perfectly encapsulates the story and is so catchy!! It just makes you wanna grab a partner and waltz around the room, singing along at the top of your voice!! Or if your alone, it makes you wanna air conduct your own orchestra...and dance around at the same time...singing along at the top of your voice!!

I love all of his music but The Blue Danube waltz is special. They play it every year at the New Year Concert in Vienna.Magical.

I particularly like the "Blue Danibe Waltz" because I have played it and it's probably one of the most famous waltzes!

"Roses from the South", followed by "Tales of the Vienna Woods"

at the bottom of my list would be "Emperor Waltz"; we played it so much in HS orchestra I got sick of it.

the emperor and the tales from the vienna woods as they evoke the scene at the beginning and reprise at the end very nicely
