How do white people feel when they get called the 'C' word? It usually gets confused with the snack, and it rhymes with tracker.

Just want honest opinions.

Well, I'm not one, so I wouldn't respond to a name that wasn't mine. If you are wondering if that word is as hateful as other racist words, I don't think it is the equal to some words I can think of.

I'm white, and the first time i ever heard it I laughed! I didn't even know i was supposed to be offended. I don't use those types of words to describe another human being. Anyone who talks like that has issues. I could care less though what someone calls me...It's that whole sticks and stones thing!

Honestly, I don't appreciate it one bit. Not only is it extremely degrading, but I also hate the fact that other races can say it over and over again without having to worry about any kind of punishment or offering an apology. The double standard that goes with the word just makes it worse.

I have never been called this term and up to reading your question never even heard of the term.

Personally, if I was called this term in a derogatory manner. I would eliminate myself from the situation and stear clear from that person. I don't use the n- word as I feel that is very derogatory and would never put that sterotype on anyone I would not allow anyone to disgrace me in that fashion

i will relatively see your element. My problem is with different racial communities utilising racial slurs to wreck different racial communities. for instance, I see a lot of white people posting crap like. "Why can black people say the "n" word, yet while white people say it, that is racist?" this would be a stupid question any way you seem at it...Why would white people wanna use a racial slur while they be conscious of they got here up with it as a derogatory which potential interior the 1st place? Then they decide to SCREAM "double widespread, double widespread," like parrots. i'm going to in all likelihood get reported for telling the certainty, and that's a shame....

I had to use the C word in a play (Ragtime) and I had a hard time with it. I know that it is offensive, and would never use it in my every day life. My husband (who is white) joked about calling one of his friends that, you know, how the N word is used.

In the UK 'cracker' is either a crisp wheat biscuit, a good looking girl or the name of a TV detective show. Crackers means crazy.
Just thought you'd like to know.
