How do you know its NOT an std?

Just because you've never been with anyone else does not mean that he hasn't been with anyone else.

I would go see a doctor.

Oh ignore some of these catty *******. I had the same problem when I first started having sex. The bodily fluids changed the ph of my vagina so that there was an overgrowth of bactera (bacterial vaginosis). Your doc will give your antibiotics and you will be fine. It is also possible to change the ph so you have an overgrowth of yeast, candida albicans. In this case, you just use a cream or diflucan. Go see your doc, they'll take into account all your symptoms and prescribe the appropriate medication.

Oh you poor thing! I'm afraid that happens to lots and lots of women. You are totally normal. I believe you have a yeast infection. You can try an over the counter treatment (not just the cream, but the actual medication- usually a 3-7 day treatment) or you can go to an obgyn and get a prescription to take by mouth. It happens to all of us... eventually. Take a nice cool bath and wash gently. wear cotton underwear and no g-strings. Hope this helps!

Hi,

Putting Vagisil on the outside will only stop the itch, you need the cure.

Either go to the docs of but a Canestan Vaginal Pessary from the chemist.

You insert it right up inside with a little applicator, if it is a yeast infection it should do the trick. Give one a try if it does not work off to the docs with you.

It could be a very severe yeast infection. Vagisil doesn't always help cases like this. You may need to call your OB/GYN and ask for a pill to take for it.

There are pills that you only have to take once that usually clears up these types of issues.

Best of luck to you.

If you have a yeast infection (and it sounds like one): get a yeast infection treatment that you put inside yourself, as mentioned above, eat yogurt, and be careful what you use around that area. Soap (like dove) can be harsh and upset the ph balance of your vagina. Use baby wipes or non-harsh soaps.

Here's some possiblities, their could be more possiblities, but here's some top possibilities in order of likelyhood.

#1-You've got an STD. He lied and has slept with someone else.
#2-You're allergic to latex, or any lube you might have used.
#3-Razor burn (if you or he shaves)
#4-You're doing it too much.

Take a break from the sex. Try lotions with healing properties - Aloe, etc. if that doesn't work, visit the free clinic.

Good luck!

I would say it is a yeast infection or vaginitis...I would go to the store and get monistat and see if that helps if it does than still go to an OBGYN so that you can know for sure...good luck

gee, it may be a yeast infection or an STD.

well, you've never slept with anyone else....has he slept with anyone else?

go to your gyn. immediatly and have them check it out. i hope it isn't an STD, but a yeast infection can be serious too.
