What output do you have? S, DVI, etc?
Really any computer store should have it, maybe even raid shack type places. But know what you need before throwing yourself into the mercy of salesmen.

depends on which way you want to go?
PC -> TV, your laptop may already have a sVideo output, look for that. There are a number of converters to output NTSC (Standard TV) or HDMI from your computer to your TV.
TV -> PC, to record or watch TV on your laptop, look for a WinTV device like see link below..

Usually you need a video card for your pc that has "tv out."
