Try to set aside some time to clean it right the first time. Get rid of everything you really don't need, then organize what you have left. From then on, always take the time to put everything back in its place when you're done with it. Taking an extra few seconds to put things back where they belong keeps you from having to clean at all. Or if you have a job, pay someone else to do it for you, because I also believe that you either tend to be tidy or messy from birth. :-)

Well then, when you get up make your bed right then. Take everything that doesn't belong in your room out. Put your dirty clothes straight in the laundry hamper, and your clothes hangers either on the rod in your closet or in your utility area. Once a week, take a damp cloth or a cloth and some dusting spray (such as Endust) and dust. And on the same day, vacuum.
You sound like you have a lot of clutter in your room. You may want to take a week and sort out everything you want to keep and organize that, then get rid of everything else.
Good luck!

1. make them invisible
get few Decorative Boxes & baskets, looks visually pleasing
Dump all your stuff there, so people don't see them when they visit, but you can try to spend 30 mins every day to organize and sort and clean them after.
2. use long handle duster to get rid of dust from celling and light fixture and under bed. vacume few times to the sides of the floor which next to the wall, and vacume once for rest of the floor.
3. Use Mr Clean Eraser pad to clean the kictchen: oven top, sink bathroom: Just the toilet and sink.

Easy. Wipe all surfaces with damp cloth. Make the bed, clean the floor. Straighten all the shelves. Put away unsightly stuffs.

Toss all clutter into a laundry basket and put it out in the hall.
Make your bed, run the vaccuum, wipe tables, chairs, etc.
Now bring the basket back in and put each item from the basket in its proper place.
Now, KEEP IT NEAT and it will go even faster next time.
