Usually by lowering your screen resolution will make the picture larger. If you have windows XP--click start-control panel-display--then click resolution--choose a lower number for resolution.

There are two possible ways to fix the screen.
It may be an issue with the screen resolution. Right click on an empty part of the Desktop, and select Properties. Go to the "Settings" tab.
On the left you will see a slide bar for adjusting the screen resolution - that is how many "dots" it puts across the screen and up/down the screen. Try different settings to see if you can find the right one for the size you like and that fills the screen. (Remember the original setting in case you want to go back to it).
If that does not work, check the monitor itself. Usually they will have buttons you push that bring up a menu so you can widen, narrow, and shift the picture to make it fit the screen. Every make of monitor uses different controls. As you did not list make, can not give "step by step" for yoiur monitor.

it varies depending on the monitor manufacturer. But most likely you have to bring up the menu for your monitor, should be a bottom on the front of it, go through the menu's to expand the image on your monitor to the edges. Sorry I can't be more specific. But this is a setting you need to fix on your monitor, not your PC.
