Call your local chapter of the American Red Cross. They can do a health and welfare check to find out about those two people. I worked as a Red Cross volunteer after two major earthquakes in California and can assure you that sort of call is routine for that organization.

I heard on a Minneapolis radio station that the red cross was going to post the names of the victims on their website. Hope this helps and good luck.

Go to KSTP.com (local news station) and email a picture of your friend that is missing. They are now accepting pictures of people that might be missing that you cannot contact.
