Lou Pinella, or the GM, who traded Michael Barrett away? A tantrum by a manager can spark a team, but, goodness, this big of a turnaround in a season??
Trading a troublemaker can allow a clubhouse to gel, but come on, first now in the division?

Truthfully, it is a TEAM effort!
With that being, you can give credit to the Cub's success to just one person, but instead the entire TEAM.
So, Lou, the GM, coaches, and players should all the credit for the Cubbies success.

Lou has won everywhere he has coached so he is the obvious answer and I guarantee the GM would never trade anyone without the manager having at least some say-so.Good luck the rest of the season...

And make sure that Bartman guy sits at least 4 or 5 rows back...

Credit goes to the GM for bringing in Pinella and Soriano and making the statement to the Cubs fans that he plans to give the city a winner.

Jones is the reason for the turn around. If you look at his numbers leading up to and after the all star break it is appearent. Also jim and Lou have created an envorment of success.
