We heard the same thing. I went online to Hubble Telescope.
It said that there would be a meteor shower visible at midnight on Tuesday. They said you could view it with binoculars or even to some degree without amplification.
I guess I didnt know where to look or there was too much of a cloud cover, but I couldnt see anything. I sure would like to though.
