Well if he truly loved you he would not do this by text message and would do it face to face. This guy is not a man at all he is a dog and has probably been throughout the whole relationship.Don,t play his game of deceit you will only hurt yourself because this guy sure does not seem to care. No one man (real man) changes their feelings in a weeks time and then texts it to you. Let him go. Sounds to me like he is confused about what he wants. He wants to have his cake and eat it too it sounds like. Do not give him the satisfaction. Remember there are alot of players out there and you just have to make good decisions not put up road blocks for the next guy and think he is going to do the same. This is not true. Let him go and move on you deserve better than that. I'm sorry you have gotten hurt by the way, but the pain will pass I promise. Act as if you have never been happier after you kick him to the curb guys hate that. And I am 38 Year old guy.

It means 1. He just doesn't know what he feels yet and doesn't have the common sense to keep his mouth shut until he does. 2. He told you he loved you in the context of having sex and throws the word around to easily. or 3. He's an idiot. In either case, why are you still there? I could handle a relationship where someone really didn't know for sure how they felt. I could live with that if I really enjoyed their company but to go back and forth.... Can't do that. If they don't know for sure, they shouldn't say it. It's called honesty and respect.

Well it means you should start having face to face conversations and not texting as a means of communication.

Other than that, I think a lot people have a different interpretation of what love means. If you had been speaking to him (in person) when he told you he loved you you could of had a nice conversation about just how much, and how you felt (not just "me2").

These are important things, put the phone down and stand next to him.

Good luck.

Honey, it sounds to me that this means, your man is some kind of flake. If he has been with a gorgious woman like you for four (4) years, and it took him this long to tell you he loves you, well that's one thing. But, to turn around and a week later, tell you he doesn't love you, but used to, he is a mental case. My advise, and you can take it or leave it, is to run away as fast as your sexy legs will carry you. There is something wrong with that dude, and it may only get worse. Peace, baby.

Guys aren't that hard to understand.
The first message was sent out of guilt. He was saying he loved you after doing something that proved he didn't. Made him "feel" better...
The second message was sent once he got over the bulk of his remorse. He's no longer sorry.

I also agree with the first answer. He's found another place to wet his wick.

I guess that mean that something changed in a week. That week marked the end of the beginning?

Perhaps he found someone else, and now is certain that this "other" is the one for him. No need to lie about loving you anymore.

But don't quote me on that. either way this guy has issues.

is he on drugs? that really doesn't make any sense. he waits four years to say he loves you and does it over a text. then says he doesn't love you? hmmm....the only thing that i can think of was that he has another person he's dating who has found out about you and got ahold of his phone and wanted to see where he stands with you so she sent that text to see what you'd write back. he probably then told her that he doesn't care about you, etc. i dont' know it may be a stretch but only thing i could think of to explain it.

Hi'
Just want you to know that he was not in love in the first place. Just wanted to trade at your expense. So be careful and do a reality check on what it means when someone says that they love you.

Sounds like he is confused or he sent you the wrong message… Either way your not the first thing on his mind.

Go with the first answer -
He's found another place to wet his wick.

Good luck
