He likes the fact that you hate her. I wonder what he would think if you had a males number in your phone? You being mad at her is giving him the power.

I have phone numbers in my phone for the same reason he just said. I kept my ex in there for a while because he called a lot and I did NOT want to talk to him. I've got a guy labled as "Wrong Number Freak" because he called my number by mistake once but continued to call because he thought I sounded "sexy." I've got a guy labeled "Stalker" because he got my number from somewhere and kept calling though I asked him not to. I understand why it bothers you, but I think his explanation could have some truth to it.

Sure you do. I think you should ask him to block the number or simply tell her not to call. There is no reason for him to have the number there.
Be firm and make sure he sees your point and what you want done. Let him know that you on the other hand would not do something like that. So the important thing is to make your point heard and make sure he gets rid of that number, it seems to me he is just giving you a line.
Good luck

Well if you're worried just look at the cell phone bill and see if there are calls from that number, how often, and how long the calls last.

Hey I do that to for my X-wife's number. I have it in the phone so I'll know if I want to answer it or not at that particualr time. I don't like her.
It makes sense, people do that. maybe you should trust your guy a bit more. What if she calls and and he doesnt have knowledge that it's her, he answers it, he talks to her, and you walk in on him talking to her...how would that make you feel?
It's a proactive attempt to avoid what he hates.

I think if you are going to marry this guy you had better start trusting him.
Has he done anything tangible to make you think he is cheating? If not and you are still upset, I'd take a long look at this relationship and where its going before you end up someplace neither of you want to be.
Good luck.

i would be flippin pissed off. he is undermining your trust with each other and if it were me my imagination would be getting the better of me, like, what's the REAL reason. also, how does he know her number to put it in his phone? he either had to get it from her again, or he knows it by heart in which case he doesn't need it in his phone. I would be very very upset at this. you need to go after the truth as to why he even talks to her you and she are at such odds. get to the bottom of it!!
