Don't know what you're talking about as far as what the Kennedys believe. I can tell you that Chavez's base of support is the poor people of Venezuela. He imagines himself a modern day Robin Hood, taking money from the rich and middle class and giving it to the poor. He has socialized the VZ oil industry, the media and many other places. I think Chavez is imprisoning those who oppose him, not the poor.
