Do you have Israeli friends?

I want to thank everyone who answers my question. I can also understand some of the frustration over the government and policy. One thing to remember is that not all people agree with their government. Some merely want peace and to be able to live normal lives just like we all do.

I met and had more than an Israeli friend. Israelis who are able to treat people the way they prefer to be treated are the kind of Israelis who I like to communicate with and we can be friends.

There is no need to tell you about Israel, I'm sure you wont be happy and will not accept my opinion as usual.
Nice question really if you can accept free opinions without reporting and thumbs down.

I have lots of Jewish friends, I used to work with some Israeli's, they were very nice to me. Nicer than the Americans as far as religion goes, they spoke well of Jesus, and He is a pretty cool dude. But let me tell you, if you have a Jew for a friend, you have a friend for life, and they are the best friends to have.

I communicated with several Israelis in the past, the majority of whom where mizrahim. One was originally from Aleppo - Syria. Another guy was originally Tunisian. I've lost contact with them though...

One of them wanted to introduce me to Lebanese Jews in NYC but it didn't happen.

As for Israel the country, I'm interested in visiting Haifa someday for personal reasons.

EDIT: The older Israeli generation tend to be more open minded than Jews born in Israel (Sabras). Perhaps it's because they had mingled with Arabs more than the younger generation.

And yes, my father had Jewish Israeli friends, but he lost contact with them.

Guys, having Israeli friends does NOT prove you're an open minded person and all the bla bla we hear everyday, those guys have resided in lands that does not belong to them by any means, both the government and the people of israel are occupiers and living amongst us illegitimately, I cannot befriend with those who robbed my freedom...

Nope but only because I don't work or know of anyone...if I did, I wouldn't mind being friends with them. (And I hope to someday visit Israel)

I have jewish friends.
I think the country its self is beautiful. I hate that its always at war, for cultural reasons. I include the entire country in my prayers often. I would like to go and see the holy land. Since I'm American that makes me "not welcome" most times.
