due today and had doctors appt...she said i am almost completely effaced but she had to strip my membranes to?

make me one centimeter...how can my cervix thin out but i not dilate?

it happens. i was 50% without being dialated. you do not do everything at once. its nature. or science lol. whichever way you want to look at it. your body knows what to do. but i would have asked them to induce me today lol. i am supposed to be induced next week after my sono to see how big he is. I will be 39 weeks. good luck. hopefully soon your baby will be here.
