The insurance companies will most likely put them up for auction or scrap them depending on the comdition of the cars.

Right now, I would think that there are a lot more things to worry about than the scrap cars.

They will be recovered, and most likely scraped. Even the ones that look ok will have major suspension damage and are only junk.
I wonder who will help the families that lost loved ones and how many latchkey kids are still waiting on a dead parent to get home?

I'm sure once the recovery effort is over they will be removed
