It really doesn't matter that Bush is god-fearing -- because God has nothing to do with US politics. In case you haven't read the Constitution, see Article VI and the 1st Amendment.
As for being decent -- he's exceptional -- at breaking the law. He's violated more federal laws than every other president in the past 30 years. As he himself has admitted, and as the US Supreme Court has confirmed.
It's sad that you are so vehemently in support of a career criminal. But that's your choice. And liberals are the one's guaranteeing you that choice.

I guess you are a Bush Lemming who still has their head stuck where the sun never shines.
1. Honorable discharge the Liar was AWOL for the last year of his National Service. Pappa Bush got Baby Bush into the Texas Air National Guard as Baby Bush was to big a coward to go fight in Viet Nam.
2. Brought back dignity to the White House. Bush and Corruption has brought shame unto the United States by their lies, deceitful practices, and sheer arrogance and stupidity.
3. How are you going to impeach the Monkey Bush and his Trainer the Devil Dickless Cheney when the Democrats can't get the required numbers to impeach the Monkey President and his trainers.
4. Harvard MBA, the idiot was in the bottom third of his graduating class.
5. God Fearing Christian-Alcohiolic until 40 and then became a born again Christian-more than likely so F'king Drunk that he mistook another Drunk for being God. A Christian doesn't start a war based on half truths that he knew were lies, but what do you expect from the Devil's Spawn George Walker Bush.
By the way you should quit watching Fox News the Bush Propaganda Channel and as well have your head surgically removed from your butt as you haven't a clue as to what is happening.

"The kids in (you) bible study class were embarrassed that the President Clinton disgraced the office like that. Now, they look at Bush with pride?"
what kind of kids are these, that have stuck together in a Bible class for nearly eight years? And shouldn't you be studying the Bible, instead of Presidential politics?
And, during the Bush administration, 3665 soldiers have died in the Iraqi war; 26558 soldiers have had non-lethal injuries; and 116 have been classified as self-induced deaths.
How does that compare to "those awful Clinton years?"

"It's kind of nice having a President who does not spend all his time in front of special prosecutors, Grand Juries and Impeachment Hearings."
There's still two years left....give it time, give it time. Building a case takes that.
Smoking hot economy? You don't live in the real world, do you? Last time I checked the market is only up a couple of points this year. I seem to recall Ol' Bill supervised a couple of double digit percentage increase years.
As for Honor and Dignity....He does seem to have a knack for hiring people, all with early onset of Alzheimer's Disease. The amount of "I don't recall", and "You'll have to ask someone else" answers to Congressional questions is astonishing.

by using fact, as HL Mencken as quickly as pronounced, no one ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the yankee public. If he replaced into so surprising, why did the Republicans ascertain he stayed thoroughly out of this marketing campaign? they did no longer opt for electorate being reminded of what a awful President he replaced into. Romney in all probability paid him to in basic terms stay in Texas and close up. Edit: @Eric, Bush replaced into RE-elected numerous years AFTER the 9/11 assaults. in certainty, 9/11 is why he replaced into re-elected. The Republicans shamelessly exploited that tragedy and implied that the US does no longer be secure if Bush replaced into President. They even held the 2004 Republican convention in NYC, a place this is solidly Democratic, and unquestionably had to cancel excursions to floor 0 by using outcry. the certainty that he replaced into President while the assaults befell did no longer look to remember. The sickest element is that 9/11 replaced into the appropriate element to ever chuffed to old W.

if it was just the left that had an issue with Bush, it would be a huge burden off his shoulders
W will go down, I am confident, as the worst President we have ever had, against some stiff competition (e.g., Harding). The damage he has done -- diplomatic, social, financial, military -- will take generations to correct. He richly deserves to be impeached, or even tried as a war criminal. But I don't think we are up to that ... we are to fat, lazy, and happy

I'm not a liberal. But, I'm compelled to represent the other side a bit. Not the left.
In George Bush's first three years he put about 300 Billion dollars into social welfare. Even allowing for inflation, that is more per-capita than all of the Johnson administration. While he was at it, he was telling us he was a fiscal conservative.
The left won't tell you about this lie because they wouldn't want to let on that Bush might not be the enemy of the poor.
He made me angry when, prior to six party talks, opposed to Treasury's whises, he released frozen North Korean assets while the treasury dept. was still investigating counterfieting.
Of course the left won't mention this because they don't want to let on that Bush might be capable of a gesture of good will.
I think he could have done more in the scooter libby case, one way or the other. Out of character for him. The left won't word it that way because they knew he could have averted a conviction and started another trial that would not have coagulated until after his term.
His support of the party in 2006 was marginal and he failed to get the support of the neo-cons.
Bush has requested spending increases, and not just for defense and homeland security. He has failed to veto spending increases that went beyond his requests other than for Iraq. OF COURSE the liberals are not going to put that fact on the chopping block.
Bush approved of Justice Sandra Day O'Connor's opinion affirming the constitutionality of racial preferences for diversity in higher education -- and perhaps in many other spheres of life. The concept of group rights -- of government complicity in allocating wealth and opportunity on the basis of skin pigmentation -- now has a conservative president's imprimatur. The left has thankfully stopped short of calling Bush a racist regularly but they will not bring this subject either.
Howard Dean, who will say anything while pandering to his party's activists, says the Bush administration aims to "dismantle" Medicare. Actually, the administration has eagerly approved the largest expansion of the welfare state since the Great Society 40 or more years ago.
We need presidential leadership on issues other than war and taxes. Instead, other than the Iraq war bill, we are getting the first full presidential term to go without a veto since John Quincy Adams.
You are right, the totality of Bush's experience and his toiling in the land's highest office does indeed demand respect but, sometimes it's not so easy.
