The city passed an ordinance to allow legal possession of an ounce or less of marijuana. However it's still an illegal substance under the state law and federal law for that matter. The Denver police department still enforces the state law and thus I wouldn't be waving my stash of pot around the streets of Denver.

Legal in Denver up to 28grams. City law,But state and Federal laws still apply. If the cops catch you with a joint and you're not dealing they will most likely let you go

an ounce or less in possession is legal within the city limits of denver.
however, seeing as denver is in the state of colorado (where it's illegal), which is inside of the united states (where it's illegal), it's technically not legal. a state trooper or federal agent could do something.
you cannot smoke it, just possess it.

no its not legal u can just carry a certain ammount of it and if you get caught then nothing will happen but its a really small ammount that you can carry, it makes so sense because you can carry marijuana around but u can smoke it so its retartd
