I'm looking at the keyboard and the computer screen, but my eyes keep getting blurry every few minutes. Yes I have very bad vision. But Im nearsighted so it has nothing to do with that. I just got in from swimming, and the chemicals were strong. My eyes started stinging, which was the reason I started fighting my little brother for the goggles. I got em, but he was getting impatient to get em back, so I took em off and got out cause my eyes were hurting. Could this be the effect of the chemicals, making my eyes blurry, cause I havent splashed my face with water like I usually do after getting out. This has never happened to me before. Its like when you go to the eye doctor and get your eyes dilated, only less intense, I can go in the sun, less frequent, and not as uncomfortable. Is this the pool's chemical water, or did something happen?

Absolutely! Chlorine is one of the chemicals they use in pools to kill bacteria, but it also does a number on people as well. Many people are sensitive to it. I am also. You cannot swim without goggles or if you do, stay on top of the water. When you get home, take a shower and wash as much of it off you as possible. Public pools tend to put an enormous amount of Chlorine because so many people use the pools and they sometimes bring all kinds of things with them that you don't want to know about.

Take a washcloth with cold water, squeeze some of it out and lay down and put in across your eyes (shut). Stay there for at least 15 minutes when your eyes should feel better, and don't go back to your computer for a while. Give them a break.

Unless you've had damage to your head Id say its the chemicals. Rinse them out with saline and close them for a while. Computer screen will not help right now either.
