BUMFISHED when a hard-boiled egg has little lumps dug out of it by peeling it badly (sic. my 6 yr old son)

FLOOPY: eg. This dress is too floopy; frilly and overdone, but not in a good way.

STREAKLERS (noun): little raindrops on the outside of your car windows that whizz along when you're driving and it's raining.

BIFIBULOUS: a multi-purpose word that you can use in almost any situation, eg. Don't even think of asking me to help, both my arms are bifibulous! or, What an utterly bifibulous idea! Word originally invented by me as a present for a friend, when I was in college and penniless.

ZOB: television or any other electronic gizmo remote control thingie.

RORO: an incredibly special little bit of rag you have to take to bed with you ALWAYS no matter how filthy it is.

DUNGLEWEEZER: dad's tickling finger that gets you right in the ribs and makes you laugh till you nearly pee.

JELLYWOBBLE: a game where mum lies on the floor between two doorways and has to grab kids by the legs and shout "jellywobble" as they try to run in and out. Mainly used when mum is really tired. Less a word than a pastime.

AUTASTIC: this is for my autistic son, and we invented it - it means autistic and fantastic. We think it's a good combination!

Just a selection - am thinking of writing a phrase book for our mainly english speaking visitors.

I came up with a couple of new words in the last month or so and this seems as good a place as any to share them.
Mementors: n. the stuff you get from people who have influenced your life by being your mentors. As in: "Oh, that vase? That's a mementor from my grad advisor."
Farticle: n. the solid matter that sometimes accompanies discharge of gas. Usually not necessary in a sentence, but if you insist: "Wow! You should have seen that farticle!" Or, "Honey, I found a farticle in your shorts."

Humphrey (noun). Sounds just like the name. This is the name of a person who holds a joint way to long. It comes from people saying "don't bogart the 'J' ." We came up with this name at my friend's house. All of us have used it ever since.

None of us smoke weed anymore but it is still fun to say!

necralogotypser

Taking considerable liberties with the Greek, this is a person who beats a dead horse; i.e., one who wants to go over and over a matter long after everyone else is tired of hearing about it.
