Why would your ears get infected b/c of fake earrings? Do you mean you are allergic and can't wear them but want to? If that is the case and your ears itch, swell up, turn red or have puss after wearing fake earrings, then there is nothing you can do. I can only wear gold, even sterling silver makes my ears itch. But that doesn't mean you will get an infection, unless you wear them for an extended amount of time. the only thing you can do is not wear them, or wear them and deal with the itching, swelling etc. But that looks ugly.

Just don't leave them in all day long. I have the same problem too, and I find that if I just wear the artificial earrings during whatever occasion I need them for and then take them out as soon as I get home and put in some real earrings (sterling silver, gold, etc.) I'll be fine.

You are sensitive to the nickel in them - many people are.
Buy earrings that say
'nickel free' or
'for sensitive ears' or
'surgical steel'
Even some gold and silver earrings have nickel - make sure those are at least 14 carat.

What do you mean fake? If you have sensitive ears that can only let you wear gold or silver, try sterling silver or white gold. Also, if you go to Claire's or Icing, there are earrings that are for sensitive ears.

My cousin has the same problem. She was able to buy a solution that you use to coat the fake earrings to make it hypoallergenic. I don't know where she got it from but I'm sure you can find it if you do a diligent search.

I unquestionably have never had a situation, yet do no longer positioned on inexpensive rings that have basically steel. I choose genuine silver or gold myself. possibly they're in basic terms goldtone no longer genuine gold you're able to desire to study into that added.

do you mean clip-ons or fake gems? if you mean clip-on earrings, then your ears won't get infected. if you mean fake gems then you might be allergic to certain kind of metals or jewels, but your ears won't get infected.
