All numbers but those ones can be changed. The "R15" and "R16" is your rim size, You have to put on tires that match your rim size.

The "R" stands for radial. You must not use radial tires & bias belt tires on the same truck.
If leaving the "R" out in your question was a typo then disregard this first part.
On the other issue. You can not mismatch 15" tires on 16" rims or vica versa.
Most braking systems use all the available space between the brake drum or rotor & the inside of the rim.
You can go to a larger rim diameter with no problem. But going to a smaller one will likely rub on the braking system.

I wouldn't do it if the truck is a 4X4. Other than that, you could. I may have some affect on the braking causing the tires to lick up in a very hard stop.

I will assume that you have the proper rim size for the 15's?

good luck with the swap.

If you have a 16" rim then you need a 16" tire so no.

genuinely, and the small speedometer errors will in all risk no longer additionally be substantial. the adaptation between those 2 tires is that the 235/75 tires have somewhat taller sidewall.

other than looking stupid, your speedometer will not work right and your car might not brake as well especially if you have ABS brakes, it will set off a code on your dash, also the rims might not clear the brake calipers if you have disc brakes on the back.

If nothing else, it will alter your speedometer and odometer readings.
