My friend has been in a serious relationship for about 9 months or so. The two of them moved in together 3 months ago, & ever since, they constantly get into fights... her bf will "throw her out" and tell her that he doesn't want to be with her, but then a couple days later, he takes her back.
I keep telling her over and over that she needs to leave him. That a guy like that is not worth her time... but she won't listen.
& every time they get into another fight, she comes to me and tells me how much she loves him and hates him at the same time and I'm just tired of hearing about it! I've told her what I think, yet she doesn't take my advice... I'm sick of her complaining to me about her relationship after I've already tried to help her... she isn't taking any of my advice, so why does she keep coming to me with this problem of hers? what can I do?

The best thing is to have a small mirror ready for her next complaint-fest, give it to her and tell her to look into it....then say she is the one who controls her future; if she accepts a man who disrespects her, then have her give the mirror back to you and you don't want to hear one thing about him again.

If she doesn't want to give it back, have her keep it, tell her to take a hard look into it when she gets home & then start packing to get out of there. And you'll be there to help.

tell her again. but this time add that you are sick and tired of her comeing to you and saying all this stuff and when you try to give her advice she doesnt listen. but when you tell her make sure she stops talking and really get her attention and if she wont then sorta scream it, but not so loud.

It is time for you to move and change your telephone number. She is always going to use you as her shoulder to cry on.
