I try to take everything with a grain of salt. Sometimes reading between the lines helps when you're not quite sure of the motivations of the other person.

I read between the lines cuz what is said isn't always what is meant. Sometimes it's not what people say that's important, it's how people say it.

Sometimes you have to read between the lines because some people are just too cowardly to just spit it out. Ya know?

I've been told that I am a very literal person - gets me into a lot of trouble. Maybe I should find a balance between the two!
