They'll just plan on throwing a lot of screen passes, and then hope and wait for a receiver to make a move and actually get away from them. They're really good CBs...but they can't win every time. There wont be great success in passing to the edges, but the middle isn't as dangerous(still is a little with that team). It's going to be a little tougher, then the small bit of intimidation...it'll be interesting to see.

It will be so tough this season to play QB against the Broncos. Champ and Dre Bly are dangerous CBs. Not many teams will be able to throw against these two QBs. The opponents better come in with a 3rd WR to throw to in the slot because there will be no deep balls.

The answer to this question depends on who the QB is, how well the QB's O-line gives him protection, and how skilled his WR's are. Bailey is probably the best CB in the league but I've seen him get burned a few times by lesser recievers. Bly plays bigger than he is (5"9) but he can be pushed around by bigger more physical recievers.

They will be fine against BLY but not Bailey!!!!
When we had that cancer BLY on our team last year he either was getting burned or was called for Pass Interferance!!! Maybe he will do better this year cause he wont have the best reciever to guard everygame but he was horrible here in detroit! Bailey's the brick wall that recievers hit when they go out for a pass the guy is sick!!!!

i admire Andy Dalton. in case you guy hadn't taken him, the Redskins would have, and that i'd have been incredibly pleased with that....however i admire RG3. Dalton does have a decrease than primary NFL arm. NFL arm potential isn't approximately how some distance you are able to throw, yet how badly you are able to arc it to get it there. There somewhat are not many NFL QBs who actually can no longer throw the 25 backyard out routes to the sideline, or 40 yards on a 9 direction (that's approximately so some distance as any NFL offense ever asks that is QBs to throw in a designed play). the problem is velocity. in case you are able to hold close the ball with a view to get it there, the DBs have extra time to get well. That 25 backyard out is going from being a killer direction to being INT-bait. Dalton would not have a killer gun to do those issues without giving DBs too plenty possibility to get well. i'm no longer asserting Dalton is Chad Pennington in terms of susceptible arm, yet arm potential isn't an income for him. Anticipation and accuracy is. No, he did no longer deserve the award extra beneficial than Newton. Newton's team became plenty weaker than the Bengals, and Newton's numbers have been loopy city for a rookie.

Here's what will happen. The QB will always start by throwing it in Bly's direction. They will figure out that that won't work when either Bly or Lynch intercepts. Then they will get worried, and throw it to the guy nobody wants to throw to...the Champ.
Expect 10 INTs for Champ, 7 for Bly, 6 for Lynch, and a sad QB after every game.

they're two talented cornerbacks, and can easily intimidate the competition. qb's only threw towards bailey a little over
40 times last year, and ended up having 10 interceptions. with bly and bailey, the qb can't pick and choose as easily as they could last year, and will have a hard time vs. the broncos secondary.

Well on paper it looks like they will be a shut down tantem. But if you really think about it and look at games. Bly really isnt that good. I have seen him get burnt or muscled repeatly. And eventhough Champ had a good season last year. I still think that against the right Wide reciever Steve Smith. a focus Chad Johnson, Anquan Boldin, Torry Holt. He can be beaten as well. But i still think they will be formittable, i like 11 or 13 pics between them.

That is a scary combination. I'm really excited to see how Phillip Rivers will do against those guys. There are a few good CB combinations in the NFL (Chicago, Baltimore, Philly) but I think the Broncos have the best CB combo in the NFL now.
