Do the Dems NOW have a NEW buzz word - INFRASTRUCTURE - to promote PROPER Federal spending, instead of their usual money wasting give-away projects?
Or do they STILL hate everything that really HELPS the U.S. economy?

Try again. Its the GOP Congress for the last 12 years that has gutted federal spending on infrastructure. And the Democrats who have been warning these kinds of disasters wre coming. First New Orleans. Just a few weeks ago the explosion in NYC. Now this.

Republicans have spent billions on infrastructure in Iraq--while Americans lie crushed under a bridge because of their neglect. Time to finish what we started last November--throw out the hypocritical neoconservatives and start spending American tax dollars on American cities.

The neocons whine "Dems hate helping America"--while they defend a criminal like Senator Stevens and his $200 million "bridge to nowhere." If that's what the right calls "taking care of America"--we don't need it.

Another tax cut for the wealthy should be all that's needed to fix our roads and bridges. You have no clue what you are talking about.

Makes me wonder...where did all the "fuel tax" money go? Wasn't that "tax" supposed to go for roads, bridges, etc and their maintenance?
