confident there are a number of different sturdy books like the Golden Compass and the two different books with the triology, depraved, Atonement, the Sisterhood sequence, delight and Prejudice... those are a number of my favorites in spite of the shown fact that it relies upon on what you like, it style of feels which you like fantasy novels that are in a set and thats ok... in basic terms examine a e book in case you dont like it then positioned it down(:

I agree with wahmof7 on the fact that to overcome the withdrawal you need to be writing, but I disagree with her method.
Rather than writing a fanfiction, you should establish your own tale. Sorcery is actually quite a common theme, so it is fair game for you to use in your own story.
Create a new world, one of your own design, to occupy your mind. You'll be more closely connected with your character and almost a part of the tale yourself.
If you take this avenue, I can help with editing. Drop me a line at crossblades08@yahoo.com

If you like fanfictions, then you should try to read "Shoebox". Its about Remus, Sirius, and James when they were in school. It's really funny (but super long).
Just to warn you, there is swearing in it and towards the last few chapters, its a slash fanfiction (its not graphic at all, but I'm just letting you know. I'm not sure how old you are).

Write your own sequel. Or an alternative ending.
