There is literally nothing you could do. You could only wait until your supplies ran out and then try to land in the Soyuz escape vehicle that is always docked at the space station. The Soyuz cannot leave Earth orbit, it doesn't have enough rocket power, so the only place to go is back down to Earth. The Shuttle can't leave Earth orbit either, but in your case there must not be one at the station anyway, because you are alone. The space station never has just one person on it, and the supplies are enough for 3 people for 6 months I believe. So I suppose one person could survive for 18 months, but after that he would be out of food, water and air and have to either land or die.

If it was right now and not in the future when traveling great distances in a short amount of time was possible, I might accept that it was humans time to go extinct.
I would first assure that all humans were destroyed during the explosion, or destroyed in the aftermath. For if there were any survivors, we would obviously band together to try to rebuild some sort of small society. Relearn how to survive with minimal amounts of technology and resources to cultivate some sort of soil to produce plants, vegetables, etc.
If there were no survivors, then hopelessness would probably overcome me. I lost everything I knew. All family, loved ones, friends, humanity. The space station is too slow to travel anywhere significant and would probably die anyways during the journey.
Now, in a separate scenario. If this "black cloud" was something sinister, it may have turned mankind into some sort of zombie civilization, in which case I would be fighting like hell and be running my @ss off!

I'd panic, then I'd panic again, and then I'd panic some more after all, the weight of the whole world would literally be on your shoulders.
Then I'd probably go into a short day dream with David Tennant himself dropping in for a perfectly timed visit, to save the day!

Earth is pulverized. I no longer have anything around which to orbit. I probably won't last long anyway. More than likely, I'll be hit by flying pieces of what used to be Earth. No big thing. Better than the alternative... floating around in space until my air or food ran out.

Start watching Monty Python's "Life of Brian" DVD (no astronaut would fly without it!) and sing along:
Always look on the bright side of life...
