The Reds are back once more it seems. Typical Ruskies claiming what is not theirs.
There is something in the UN Charter to stop this kind of nonsense. It's early days yet, but I'm sure if the Americans kick up about it, they will get the immediate backing of UK.
This should be a collective and concerted effort by UN members to kick assssss on this.
If the Ruskies will not back off then we ought to claim the entire Southern Continent - rich in coal, oil and God knows what else. Bigger than Africa I believe.
Guess what? The most famous and most loved person in Russia today is our old friend Uncle Joe. Yup, the very same, guilty as charged Joseph Stalin. The kids in Russia learn all about him in school.
There's just no end to this crap!

I think that USA is not strong enough to explore anything now. Dollar is falling, falling... they have too many problems inside there own country. And they have no possible rights on these territories. It can be only Russia or Denmark or Canada. The expeditions just need to prove who is right. About the wars - a lot of people were killed and many of them are common people, not soldiers. Today about 200 people were killed today by American bombs. Nobody is killed right now in the North Pole. It was a scientific expedition, not a war. About making Stalin a hero - do you know a joke about American president - "If you still don't have democracy then we go to your country with our bombs". I don't think he looks white and fluffy after those wars. And setting those weapons around Russia in surrounding countries. Even if Russians are trying to get more money they are not killing anybody.

well you allow American and British dictator to invade Afghanistan and Iraq on basis of lies, so why not? This is not any different from USA placing American flag on the moon in 1960's and claiming the moon as American territory, or British government landing in a foreign country then claiming it for the British Crown, think of this before you make such statements again

I had a major skipping habit in HS. I used to go to my friend's house before school, hotbox in the bathroom and then decide if we felt like going. Sometimes we stayed in and sometimes we showed up fried. If we showed up, we'd go smoke up again at lunch time. One time, I screwed up so big while skipping, I was too scared to face my parents for a week. Just took off couch surfing. I'm surprised I actually went back. They should have just murdered me. Incredibly, I graduated and completely cleaned up my act. Still embarrassed by the amount of skipping I did and the crap I got up to.

You have to accept this because your country is way too weak to explore the Arctic:
you don't have equipment,
you don't have experienced people,
you don't have logistics comparable to 1% of Sevmorput,
you don't have icebreakers and ships to navigate the Arctic,
you don't have technology to explore the lands above Southern Alaska, which is comparable to Moscow region in winter temperatures.
Look, Alaskan pipeline from Prudhoe Bay failed because of lack of engineering skills.

So you have to deal with the russians again...
That means that you will have to arm muslim terrorists, like the talibans, like you did before.
What a mess.
