Seriously, is anyone out there genuinely concerned about Lohan's spiral into alcoholism, or if Britney Spears will go even more insane? Its not like they are the only people in the world with problems. Or come on, who wants pictures of celebrities at the beach or the grocery store, or whatever? Does anyone seriously care about what celebrities do on a daily basis, and if you do, WHY????? I'm so flipping tired of seeing stupid celebrity stuff on TV and I think that the people who dont care should band together and get this S--- taken off of the television!

Ok, since some of you people aren't getting it, I'll explain more. Celebrities are just people who make a living in the public eye. Do you care about what designer your mailman wears outside of work, or have pics of where your florist went on her honeymoon? Probably not. I'm wondering what makes people care SO MUCH about the daily lives of people they don't even know, but who are kind of their "employees" if they watch their movies. This question isn't about the celebrities, but rather about the celebrity-followers and their frame of mind.

I can't say I honestly care about those sorts of celebrities, but I do find it interesting that after being so long at the top the only way they have to go is down, and man do they go DOWN.
Some celebs can do it gracefully, but alas, some still crave the attention they used to get way back when, and will resort to negative means to get it. Childish, but whatever. If they want to be recognized for something post-stardom, why don't they do something GOOD for a change, like travel to a Third World country and help the children (or some variant of charity).
Oh well. Once a drama queen, always a drama queen.

Yes.they get payed for doing nothing.Of course some of them make great movies,but I thing they are getting overpaid.What really pisses me off is the way they say they aren't eating because they are overworking.I mean what the hell?
And them,especailly Angelina Jolie saying "I'm not eating because of the Etheopians,I feel sooo quilty blah blah blah"
You aren't eating because of that?Why don't you give the freaking etheopians your stunning Porsche,HUGE manshion and go live in the forest.I think that will pay the quilt away.
Don't get me wrong some Celebrities do have reason for money,but people like Paris Hilton are rich because they are famous and spoilt,she's damn ugly and she doesn't have any talent in acting or singing.I can go on and on but I think I should shut my mouth now...

I absolutely agree with you on this one, I think the TV stuff and the tabloids should concentrate more on "Down to earth" news, and not so much on gossip and "He said, She said" sh.. if you know what I mean. I used to think merchandising was a main factor for it, how ever Have you sat down and tried to watch a television show lately, for an hour program You might actually watch 20 mins. of it and the rest is commercials!!!!!

Because the TV and Magazines tell us to. The only reason we know who they are is because of the media. Those girls are on the TV every time you turn it one. Go to the store and every magazine has them on the cover for one reason or another. The sad part is these girls are only being laughed at and are not being admired. I really feel that these girls think people really like them and want to be them, they don't know what a train wreck they really are.

Some people like them just because of how they look....other people just like making fun of them because it makes people realize that even celebrities have problems like everyone else.
I wouldn't really know because I don't care much for most celebrities.
Being rich and famous has always appealed to people, though.

I DONT THINK PEOPLE TRUELY CARE EXCEPT:
the pre-teenie boopers who are like OMG zak efram or however you spell that
BUT AS FAR AS britney , lindsey or paris or whomever I think it just funny to hear about it.
I THINK ITS FUNNY and sad because they have all this money and opportunity to do something good or make a change and they dont. So when their movie or cd comes in below record they deserve it.

i think as regular normal humans we care because neither one can endure the obstacle's they face in life for two reason 1the whole world is judge while they go through it 2they don't know the consequences behind their behavior because of their yet to grow up parents are to busy enjoying the benefits of their stardom to see the cry for help
