Douching is not a good idea, as it kills the natural bacteria that are intended to naturally clean the area.
Sometimes the odors can be influenced by diet. She could try increasing her water intake and avoiding foods which could cause an unpleasant smell. Also, she should wear cotton undergarments.
Beyond that, I am unsure of any remedies. I think you should determine if it is a bad smell or just one that does not appeal to you. If it is a bad smell, then it could be a little infection - such as yeast, and she could see her doc for treatment.
I hope this works out for you because you seem sincere. Good luck.

A lot of scents "down there" are produced by what a person eats. I would say to have her go to her doctor and see if there are certain things she should avoid eating. Douches are not very healthy, keep that in mind too.
If that doesn't work and it is still a huge deal, light some scented oil candles in the room before you guys fool around. That way her scent is not so over powering.
And honestly, if this is THAT bad then she has something wrong with her down there. If there is not something wrong with her and it's just not your preference, then I dunno...it's funny how some guys are turned on by how women smell and some are turned off. Sorry, you didn't ask me that :) Good luck!

This is caused by two things: not cleaning the vagina enough, it is not uncleanliness per se it is just a build up of "stuff". Bathing will pretty much iradicate this problem, water can fix most any problem and a good soak will stop many infections/odors.
Also, oftentimes this odor is caused by an overabundance of candida yeast--i.e. a yeast infection, and that is caused when the digestive ph (potential of hydrogen) gets too low. Oregano tablets from a health food store or the oil will solve the problem. I bet she has low energy, or rather she feel stired quickly in the day, correct? A yeast infection will cause this (yeast infections are not just vaginal either).
Eating lots of fresh fruit will help raise the body ph. Contrary to what alot of old school docs think, citric fruit actually has alkaline producing compounds (FYI).
Good luck, Im sure though these suggestions will work..........

douching is not a healthy way to clean a vagina. The vagina cleanses itself naturally, so its not safe to use "outside" chemicals...when you douch your're actually taking away the good bacteria and stirring up the bad, so that may help the scent for a day or so but after that, its back to the way it was...she may have vaginosis, its nothing to be afraid of, its just that she as too much craziness going on with her bacteria down there, good and bad, its not anyones fault, just sometimes ur body does its own thing...you can go to the doctor and get some meds that you will take for about a week, (no sex for a week) and then after that she should be good...if that doesnt work then there may a deeper problem...hope this helps!

Douching could actually be making her smell worse by getting rid of some of the good bacteria. Normal daily showering or bathing should be enough. If she still smells bad, she should see a doctor. Most guys are really turned on by the smell of women----if you're not, maybe it's just the idea of it being dirty "down there". Some people have a hard time getting past what they've heard or been told all their lives.

Suggest that she take baths (not showers), wear cotton underpants (instead of going commando - my friend did this all the time and whenever we went to the movies and she put her feet up, I nearly passed out), and wipe thoroughly whenever she steps out of a bath/shower/pool, etc. She is probably providing the opportunity for bacteria to accumulate (darkness + moisture), accounting for the odor.
Douching can push bacteria further into her vagina, which is a bad idea. Also, tell her not to put any talc products in that area - no baby powder!
We know you mean well - good luck :o)

She needs to go to a gyno, first of all, because the smell might not be natural and might be caused by bacteria. A bad scent is often caused by Bacterial Vaginosis. Also, does she have good hygiene? Is she overweight? Does she have over-active sweat glands? Those can be other causes, as well.

Okay, first of all NEVER DOUCHE! It is the worst thing for your vagina and can actually make it worse.
And if her scent is really that strong she needs to go see a Gynocologist right away. Your vagina should have little or no scent, and a strong odor can be a sign of a problem.

Hi guy p, the first step is to actually make sure that your girl vagina is in shape. Abnormal discharges are accompanied by itchiness, raunchy smells, and/ or gray-, yellow- or green-colored discharges. Most likely doctor would have to test your girl to diagnose infection. Your sensitive nose it's stop-indicator. You can look article: http://www.askedweb.com/askedweb/Is_This_Why_Your_Vagina_Smells/
possible this will be useful.

As a woman it is better to take a bath than douche. It is best for a woman to take a bath. The smell might get worst because of douchen. Douchen it very bad for women. Douchen can cause a STI.Have her drink lots of water. If her problem gets worst she may want to can a doctor.
