At 18 you can apply for a concealed carry permit. You'll need to go your local police station if you live in town, or to the Sheriff's Department if you live in a rural area. They will fingerprint you and give you the paperwork to send to the state. Some departments may charge a fee for fingerprinting you, and will not accept a personal check, debit card, or charge card.

You'll need a money order for the fees when you send the application to the state. Also, the envelope is oversized, so you'll need to put extra postage on it even though it is lightweight.

There are two kinds of permits available. One is valid for several years, and the other is a lifetime permit. I can't remember the fees for each, but if you call your police department, they can tell you and they will also tell you how much they charge for fingerprinting.

Hope what kind of anser is that? How do u know he is going to kill someone. A lot of people have guns that they use for protection, hunting, etc. Its a small few that use them for criminal activities. The right to bear arms is legal in the U.S if you didn't know. You need to grow up and think before you answer next time. Sorry man as for your question I don't know I just got aggrevated by her response.
