Yes! Growing up I never had it until my Samoan stepmother (it is very popular in Polynesia) introduced it to me. It is *phenomenal* cut and fried and mixed with plain white rice. It's also great on toast with mustard. The high salt content almost makes it a must to mix it with something a bit more bland though. Fried and diced, it is also great in eggs/omelettes, macaroni and cheese, chop-suey, etc.
