For instance.
we could do a story about torture and show victims of torture
by the hand of what ever govt. or group. the immediately
following that story do a story of how Cheney and bush endorses torture and water boarding. then do another story perhaps a documentary on ancient torture techniques.

Thats the technique that Faux News uses.

No.. there is rarely a point in sinking to that level.... even if it does get voters....

But Democrat's have their own propoganda stations -- MSNBC and Air America -- the difference is those stations freely admit when they're doing "opinion media" instead of news -- they don't hide their real intent behind a fake claim of being impartial.

How could the "big lie" approach be used against the Bushies? There's nothing I can think of that would be more outrageous than the track record they've already chalked up. That's part of the problem ... the lies and corruption are so vast that it seems unbelievable.

Surely a president would not start a war that would kill and injure hundreds of thousands of people for no good reason.

Surely a president would not try to justify a trillion dollar war by arguing that one man was a bad man.

Surely the US would not unilaterally invade and occupy a soverign nation and then blame the citizens of that country for the fact that the occupation isn't going smoothly.

Surely a vice president would put the needs of the country ahead of the value of his Halliburton stock options.

Surely the attorney general is at least AWARE of the decisions being made in his name.

Surely the White House wouldn't visit a drugged up guy in the hospital and try to get him to go along with their plans over his protests that he is not fit to serve.

Surely the president wouldn't nominate someone for the Supreme Court that has no qualifications whatsoever.

Surely the White House wouldn't ask oil companies to come to DC and write its energy policy.

Surely the White House wouldn't say it is OK to torture people.

Surely the administration wouldn't completely ignore the recommendations of the 9/11 commission.

Surely someone with an MBA couldn't honestly believe that "deficits don't matter".

The most creative writers couldn't have dreamed up the deception and incompetence demonstrated on a daily basis by this administration. And if they had they'd almost immediately have told themselves "no one will believe that could happen, it's too outrageous".

So there's no need to tell lies about what the Republicans have done. If the public merely accepts 10% of truth they will be sent packing in the 2008 election.

Well since you want to talk about bogus journalism how about the news story that Bush never finished his military service that was run during the Presidential race that most liberals still believe,it doesn't matter that news anchors lost their job over the false story liberals still swear it's true, and that is just one example. Of liberal bogus journalism

You really don't want to go down the bogus journalist road. Not when the left can take the most negative out of every story and broadcast it. They would broadcast negatively about a cat being saved by the fire department. First by saying that the cat was held uncomfortably by the scruff of the neck and how much man power and gasoline it cost the taxpayer to save the cat.

Americans want to be lied to. Anything that gets a little closer to their god running the country instead of a President.
