Ok well yesterday I had an interview at a gym for a front desk position and he told me at the end that he will let me know by this afternoon sometime or the latest by noon tomorrow. Well.. even though he said when he was going to contact who he interviewed... I just feel like I would like to call and ask anyway just to let him know I am very interested in the job but I am not sure how I could do that.. Can you help please?

Don't call, be professional and follow up in person. Just stop by to say thank you for the opportunity to apply for the job, and you were just checking to see if he had made a decision yet. Dress appropriately for the job too.

I would love to know someone called to say thanks for the interview and they are really interested! If you don't get it, however, go ahead and send a brief note again thanking them for the interview and would they please keep you in mind for the future.

just call and tell them that you are interested in the position and if they haven't filled it yet, you would like to talk to the person making the decisions.
