They both should be first ballot HOF. Both are two of the greatest at their respective positions. Both were golden in their prime offensively and defensively. Both 5-tool players!

Definitely, but I think that you missed the HGH in Barry's nickname..... I'm a Giants fan, a true baseball fan and someone that will definitely honor baseball when the record is surpassed by Barry, A-Rod or anyone for that matter.
Drug use or not, since he took steroids and HGH "legally" because they were prescribed to him in rubbing compounds, it does not matter to me because they had nothing to do with his performance anyways. He struck out and hit ground balls frequently during that period as much as a normal player.
I believe that both of those players will be inducted into the HOF on 1st ballots.

Of course, they should have the respect of every fan, they are both great players that should be a lock on first ballot HOF

If Pete Rose isn't getting into the HOF then these should definately not go. They broke the law. They should be kicked out. Bonds already admitted to "unintentionally" taking roids. Yeah, I stick myself with needles on accident all the time too...
Kick them out of the league. Also, kick out Mike Vick, the whole Bengals team, and half of the NBA.
We need to clean up pro sports.

Unless baseball writer agree to not vote for anyone who took steroids, Barry will get in.
I am sure Ivan Rodriguez will get in too, don't know about the first ballot.

If they get into the hall of fame so should McGwire and all the other roiders who have or will hit 500 homers (sosa, Palmeiro, and many more to come)
