Okay if it is like a first date or a first impression, you need to keep things fashionable to attract them.
I suggest a brightly coloured tunic (bright because it catches the eye) and some leggings if you are on a date. Guys love it when girls wear tunics and leggins, because they can see the shape of your ***! Team with some leg-lenghtening platform shoes (in season also) or some dolly shoes if you are worried about height.
If you are on more of a "casual" date or night out, I suggest stil a nice outfit, not too comfy, becasue you still want to cathc their eye. I suggest a nice flowing top or tunic, dressy, and some jeans, preforably skinny. If you're wearing skinny jeans, stay away from fitted tops! Wear with heels to lenghten your legs.

Sorry, I just had to say that.
We go to the comedy club all the time for a night out. Casual wear is the thing. Take a sweater for later in case it turns cold, but wear light clothing cuz it gets warm with all those people together in one room. Loose fitting, comfy jeans and blouse are great. that's pretty much what every female I see in ther wears. That or a nice "summer" dress. A few do get really fancied up, so if that's your thing, go for it. Just go to have fun!!

comedy shows are typically very laid back and casual but you can always dress it up since your going with someone special. i would go with nice jeans, basic heels and a cute shirt. nothing over the top but not plain and simple. hope this helps

Believe me when I say, keep it basic. Because if you are anywhere near the front and you have something crazy on (whether it's bright colors or a weird print) you might get talked about by a comedian. Wear basic black and some jeans, nice basic jewelry, nothing ridiculously flashy.

i love tea length dresses (mid caf) and because you have brown eyes and dark hair you should try a robbins egg blue.
