Ok, there can be multiple answers to this. Are you going to a competition or just wanting to sing a contemporary song. The most common untouchable artists are Whitney Houston, Celine Dion, and Mariah Carey, they are the untouchable only b/c they have a very wide range and can pull it off. If you are talking about a competition piece, such as a in a foreign language let me know. I have some pieces that might be good. Good opera pieces are some from the opera Carmen. "Pie Jesu" from Requiem is also good. If you want to show range "Memory" from CATS is good. depends ont eh genre and tempo you want in the song.

Almost anything from Phantom of the Opera- especially the songs done by Carlotta. I have great fun singing them :D Some specific suggestions are Angel of Music, Think of Me, and The Phantom of the Opera... the last note on that one is really really high :P
