Do you know anything about moving? I have to fit an object which is 31.5 inches through my 30.7 inch doorway? I cannot take down the door, but I need to get this object through. What can I do?

Standard door width is 32 inches and most household appliance manufacturers take that into consideration. Some inside doors on manufactured housing are reduced, mostly in baths and closets. Nuff said about that.

Suggestions:
1) Try again to remove the door or maybe some trim.
2) Bring the object in through a window
3) Dismantle the object, shrink it if possible
4) Call a carpenter to alter the door size or remove a wall section
5) Abandon the home and move to one with bigger doors

GOOD LUCK

1. Disassemble the object, if you can.
2. Can the object be compressed? You also have to consider that the 30.7 doorway will have the 2 inch door sticking through it.
3. Maybe you can pass it thru the balcony (if you have one).
4. Sideways maybe?

Just suggesting....

If the object has a removeable door, you can remove it. If not you can turn it to the side and try it that way. If not the door has to be removed.

Get a run at it. Something's bound to give. Your only option is to pull the hindge pins on the door. It's an easy thing to do.

It depends on other demensions. Can you turn it on a side or bring it through on a diagonal?
I have known people to bring furniture in through second story windows when the bottom story didn't work.

If applicable, check another door. I have a front door that is two inches smaller than my rear door.

Will it fit through a window? My sis did that, her friends roped up a dresser and lowered it out of the window.

If it doesn't fit, then it doesn't fit. you'll have to disassemble the object to get it through the door.

Can you lift it up and into a window? If not, there are somethings that just cannot be done.
