I didn't like it at all, there was so much more I wanted to know other than the kids of Harry and Ginny, and Ron and Hermoine. Who was the new Headmaster at Hogwarts? What happened to the Dursleys? I didn't feel like I knew Harry, Ron, or Hermoine anymore. I also thought it was horrible that Lupin and Tonks had to die after just having a baby, that Fred had to die, leaving his twin without a "partner in crime", and worst of all, the way Snape had to die. It only made me feel worse when I found out Harry gave his youngest son's middle name "Severus" The last chapter kind of broke my heart, because after reading stories of an innocent, reckless young boy, having an adventure every year at Hogwarts, and then reading about this new Harry, it just didn't feel the same.

To be honest, the end was a bit hurried. All is well for Harry, Ron, Hermione, Ginny and Neville, but there is no mention of so many other important characters like Luna, the Weasleys, the Dursleys, professor McGonagall, Victor Krum and all. But JKR will probably reveal all of it later. I also didn't like the graceless killing of Madeye Moody, Voldemort, Snape, Lupin and Tonks. They were all valiant fighters and should have died with far more dignity. There was no need to separate the Weasley twins either. The deaths of Fred, Dobby, Colin and Hedwig were really emotional. I would have loved a bit of manhandling of Umbridge too, like centaurs taking her away again, or goblins shutting her up in a Gringotts vault or house-elves putting her into a toaster or something. Still, all in all it's a very nice book.

Well I did enjoy the book but I can't get over Tonks and Lupin and Snape dieing. Snape was always one of my favorite characters and now Fred and George are just George. She split up the twins, that was very emotional. I also thought it was really sad right before he went into the forest and he talked to his parents and Sirius and Lupin. After Lupins death he has no more of those friends, of course he has Ginny and Ron and Hermione but it was just too much.
I thought the epilogue wasn't good though because it left many questions unanswered. Like, what are their careers? what happened to Luna or what happened to the Malfoys afterwards? Who's Headmaster?
Other than that, the book was great.

Yeah, I really like how she wrapped everything up between Harry and Voldemort. I do wish there would have been more to the epilogue, though. For instance, what happens to Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes?

at first no, but then i watched the interviews with JK Rowling and she filled in many gaps for me and made me appriciate the ending much more.
[for people who want to know fillers like jobs and things about other charracters watch interviews with JK Rowling like the today show and stuff. She awnsered a lot of my questions]

I liked it but I hated that Dobby, Colin, and Fred had to die. The ending covered most of my questions but there were still some missing things that Jo didn't tell us.

It was really sweet, I only have two objections: two of my fave characters died (Tonks and Lupin) and the series is over! :( But, I'm glad that Harry and Ginny and Ron and Hermione got married. ;D

Yeah, it was nice. But I wish she put more details about their lives 19 years later...
The only thing I didn't like is when Fred dies... I mean, no more twins! Just George left...
