i want you to tell me of any really intense songs that are good for playing halo with. heavy metal, dance and rap are the main catagories. thanks for the help!

I like Halo's own soundtrack myself.
But I'd say Rage against the Machine, Kid Rock, Disturbed, old Crystal Method, maybe 30 seconds to Mars...

I really enjoy breaking out the heavy tunes while playing Halo, it really gets the mood up.
I recommend Disturbed to get the blood up, then some All that Remains (like the song "Six") to get you shooting. I also recommend the song Imma Beast, I don't know who it is buy but it's a song about the Juggernaut from the online parody.
Another recommendation is System of a Down I believe they have greatest hits album and that would be perfect.

Well, if you like Heavy Metal, Dance, and Rap why not just find your favorite band by searching one of those categories on Google. Then you can go buy a CD that the band has or Download through limewire.com.
Some of my friends (I don't have Halo) Don't listen to anything because it can be distracting and can diminish your ability to hear footsteps in the game. I'm not sure if that is true or not.
Either way it is up to you we don't know what you like to listen to!
