I do not like that song. Lyrically, it's fantastic. But the melody ... Lennon's voice ... the pitch ...
It's just too much to cope with.

I am a deist, but I find the song STUPID. Seriously, he is describing the utopia of the communistic system. Even when he wrote thte stupid song, we all knew that communism was more of a dystopia than a utopia. He prattled on in the song because his mind was too addled with drugs to be able to understand what was occurring at the time. Should have been Imagine there's no heaven, you just cease to exist. Imagine there's no money, we all die of starvation. Imagine all the people. choking on dirt. Yeahahahha If you really like the song, feel free to travel to N Korea. They are still trying for the Communist utopia.

Answer:No Way! It would be among the bottom of my list around Vanilla Ice, and all the "Gangsta Rap" stuff. Sorry, just not a big Beatles fan. I know this is going to sound cheesy but I liked the Monkee's imitation of the Beatles alot better.

I really hate that song.
The melody is nice and the intent behind the words is nice, but the actual lyrics really bug me...
