You have to remember that Harry Potter is good. His soul is, in all honesty, to pure to use a unforgiveable curse. In Order of the Phoenix Harry tried using the curse Crucio which causes extensive pain to the person who the spell is used on. Bellatrix sneered at him and merely laughed saying that you can only use a unforgiveable curse if you really meant it.
**********************SPOILER************************
Bellatrix used the Crucio curse on Hermione when she was taken in the 7th book. Bellatrix doesn't need hatred to use the curse because she is just evil at heart. She doesn't /have/ a heart. Therefore she can use the curses. All the death eaters and Voldemort are the same. They all don't have hearts and can just use the spells without feeling.
Harry loves though and that's what keeps him from using Avada Kedavra to kill the death eaters when he is flying away from them. He does end up using one Unforgiveable Curse near the end of the book but to get what he needed for not only himself but the sake of the wizarding world it was what he /needed/ to do. He wanted to win the war, therefore the curse worked.

Hahahaha!
Mainly, because he's good and because of his experience.
He knows what death can do to those around, and to yourself. Through the Horcruxes he's discovered also what killing can do to his own sould. So I think he avoids casting those spells for these reasons.
At the end, he dissarms Voldemort, because he know the Elder Wand won't hurt him (Harry). So, why brag or kill if you know you can have the same effect with a soul-friendly spell?
I think he's a great leader. He uses what it takes. No more, nor less.
Goodluck!

Bellatrix Lestrange told Harry, about the unforgivable curses, "You have to mean them."
Of the spells that Harry could be sure of having effect, the disarm spell, Expelliarmus, waas right at the top of the list.
This is true of Harry's friends as well. You don't see Hermione blowing people up, although she knew how.

Because he doesn't know how to cast an Avada Kedavra. As you can obviously see, he has never learned how to. If he were at Hogwarts, there might be the slimmest chance. But as far as I'm concerned, the only 17 year olds to cast Avada Kedavra are Crabbe and Goyle. And Malfoy threatened to at Malfoy Manor.
By the way, I'm not sure if Stunning is temporary. You have to say Ennervate, don't you?

Because Harry is the good guy. And since it's essentially a fairy tale, people can turn from bad to good. He's giving them that chance.

Because he does not know who is under a spell and who is acting on their own accord. He is trying to be safe about it and not act like the Deatheaters by just killing everyone who crosses his path.

There's one simple answer to that, Harry's good. Good people don't kill others, they only do if they HAVE to. Like voldy and harry.
