Dont tell her like that. Youll depress her and shell fill the void with eclairs and gummy bears. Why dont you go for a walk and invite her? After you get in a routine of that say ive been thinking of taking up running... it might help me to stick to it if you will go with me. And be sure and if she gets tired and has to stop you stop with her and then when she can she might start again. Also you are going to have to start cooking and make dinners suck and ask her to help you with switching what you buy at the store so you wont be tempted to eat trash anymore. So like you gotta be stealthy and get her to be a vixen.

I know how she can drop a significant amount of unwanted weight in one day - dump your lame ***.
Maybe she needs a real man who will love her and take care of her needs. She might not have put the weight on in the first place if she had that.

put her on the treadmill and attach a donut on a fishing rod just out of her reach...
she will try and run for the donut and shed some pounds.
after a solid 2 hour workout just give her the damn donut.
or file a divorce.
or tell her to get liposuction.

Take her to an isolated desert shack with just regular food and wate and leave her for 4 months. She'll easily lose 50 pounds for sure.
