I don't know how often you get stoned, or even if you get stoned (but the fact that you're posting this makes it seem pretty obvious that you must)..
..but I can tell you from knowing several people that did or still do frequently, as well as from being high a few times my self in the past, that you do NOT have a good sense focus, nor do you have ANY sort of reaction time that is suitable for the road.
Sure if everyone else is being a perfect driver, there may not be any problems, but if something happens that you need to react very quickly to, the odds of being successful in it aren't very good.

I agree on the differing states of inebriation. Yet under the influence is under the influence.
Having, shall we say, "experiement" my own fair share I can say that while weed smokers are far less aggressive than drunks behind the wheel, they also have impaired reaction times.

Both are violating the same law -- driving with under the influence of an intoxicating/impairing substance....
And a little alcohol doesn't impair drives as much as lot of alcohol; -- just like a little pot is not as bad as a lot of pot.

driving while impaired puts everyone at risk so there is no distinction... if your killed or injured, it won't matter if they were stoned, drunk, or sleepy, the results are the same.

No matter how much or how little, impaired means impaired.
