I thank god for Pres GW Bush- he has the courage to go after enemies of America, and stays true to his beleifs even if people attack his character.

Liberals want fascism- yet of course they engage in Freudian projection by calling Bush a fascist-

We had a fascist leader in the US- Franklin D Roosevelt-possibly the worst-and most dangerous president in US history- We had no buiness fighting Germany- that was a European affair- and there is ample evidence FDR knew ahead of time about the Japanese intention to attack Pearl Harbor...

FDR was a Democrat, and sent Americans to detention centers, and would have served as president indefinatly if he hasn't died. FDR was a fascist, and forced socialist programs on the US...

Pres Bush is anything but fascist- he stands and fights for freedom.

Why can't liberals seem to realize that it is in fact they who are the fascists, and not Pres Bush?

Extreme conservatism is a form of fascism, extreme liberalism is a form of communism. They are two opposite extremes along a continuum. Socialism is on the liberal side of the continuum.

Republicans (such as Pres Bush) tend to be conservative, Democrats (such as the Clintons) tend to be liberal. Reality is, most people are somewhere in the middle.

I'm not interested in the pro or anti GW Bush debate but if you're going to apply a label from an extreme example, make the correct application. I'm really not picking on you - keep an open mind and look at the continuum of political ideology. You may find yourself somewhere on that continuum that you don't expect.

Neither FDR or GWB would be anywhere near the far extreme of Fascist though both displayed far right tendencies of nationalist politics.

Bush has systematically destroyed the Constitution which he referred to as just a god damn piece of paper. He detests freedom, he is a rube. He would prefer to be a dictator.

If he has the courage to go after enemies of America, then why doesn't he go after the enemies of America. Why go to Iraq? Our enemies are in Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

I'm with you on FDR. If you can believe he knew about Pearl Harbor, why can't you believe Bush knew about 9-11. It's the same thing. It was a reason to engage in perpetual war while taking away our rights and liberties.

IRAQ HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH 9-11. Holy hell, Wake Up man.

FDR the "worst and most dangerous president in US history" ??

you don't have much respect for the WWII generation do you.
our Grandparents elected FDR four (4) times !
you would think that one of the greatest generations in the history of America would have known what they were doing ?
but according to you most Americans were voting for fascism !

School has failed you, or you failed school.
You should learn more about Americans that lived during the great depression and WWII.

thanks to CoachT for a great answer and being good with his facts.

Iraq had Nothing to do with 9-11.
The terrorists training camps are now in Pakistan. They get support and funding in their Pakistan Safe Haven.
Iraq was a bait and switch.

The people who don't see it that way, know the definitions of liberalism and fascism.

Have you ever read a history book? Do you know that Germany declared war on the US first and almost immediately started sinking ships off the Atlantic coast of the US?

RESPONSE - What part of "Germany declared war on us first" do you not understand?

Perhaps you should take a closer look, fascism is (too) well represented by BOTH parties:

To see where you are on the compass:

If you bothered to look at the links, you've had quite a shock.
I suggest a cool, damp cloth on your forehead and lie down for a while.

They're angry they lost in 2000 and 2004.

They're know that a big welfare state and fascism have in common the addicting of citizens to relying on the govt for everything.

They have smeared conservatives as racist, militaristic and greedy (through movies, music, tv and newspapers).

They wish they were in power to take credit for our successes in the war against terrorism. They're bumbed that Bush liberated two countries from tyranny while they were out of power.

If you are a typical Republican and this is what you truly believe then you make an excellent case for why a Republican should not hold public office, especially not POTUS. I suppose you believe everything Fox tells you.

And do us all the favor of speaking for yourself. Do not presume to tell me what my opinion is.

Since you think that you are so smart, why don't you tell us what you would have done to get the US out of the Great Depression. I'm sick of people like you always whining about which party is the best, get over it!

So you don't think the U.S. should have stopped Hitler but we should've stopped Hussien? Your logic eludes me.

Iraq did NOT attack us. Al Qaeda attacked us. Hussien was leader of Iraq. He had no ties with Al Qaeda. Indeed, he hated this group. Listen to something else besides Faux News.
